The “Heitz CroCo Nero” structure gives the impression of a burned wooden surface, such as that created by light charring. The CroCo Nero look can be used ideally as an accent in connection with surfaces made of commercially available veneers or plastic surfaces. This captures an edge look on the workpiece with a distinctive surface very close to the look of burned wood. By coloring the pores in white, the look is accentuated and can thus be used effectively as a design element.

The "Heitz CroCo" structure is based on the look of a crocodile skin. Different types of veneer can be expressively refined and accentuated. The design options can be further expanded through the targeted use of woodstaining and painting. For example, by colouring the pores in white, the impression of a vintage or shabby surface can be clearly emphasized. By using this structure, the sense of touch and visually perceptible design accents are integrated into the workpiece, emphasizing the naturalness of the wood material. Even very simple types of wood can experience an interesting visual enhancement through this look.
